I wasn’t really sure what to expect from a book launch. I had chosen the new Cats Protection Homing and Information Centre as the venue partly because it was familiar, which is always helpful, but also because I was donating part of my sales to the charity.

People drifted in throughout the afternoon, although some were obviously there just to see the cats in need of homes, and this gentle trickle was much easier on my Asperger’s Syndrome than a flood of people would have been.  It also helped that I  had signed my books in advance so that I could focus on just being there.

Now I need to find other places or events locally where I can showcase my book as I continue to work on my online presence and further adventures for Akea.
