The proofs of the finished illustrations for my next Akea adventure have arrived. While this should be a cause for celebration, my head’s not in the game right now as my fur baby is poorly.  Kizzy ‘The Whiz’ – so named because of her enthusiasm for everything – has a spinal problem that’s getting us both down. Her scan is on Tuesday and, while I will hate her not being with me for the day, I am hoping we will discover how to put her right.  I need to put the whiz back in my Whiz.
